CoreWeave Set to Report Second-Quarter Results Tuesday

August 10, 2026

CoreWeave is set to report second-quarter earnings Tuesday after the market closes, giving investors another look at whether massive spending on artificial intelligence infrastructure is translating into sustainable growth.

The AI-focused cloud computing company will report results Aug. 11, followed by an earnings call at 5 p.m. Eastern time, according to CoreWeave.

Wall Street is expecting another quarter of extraordinary growth. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect CoreWeave to report approximately $2.56 billion in second-quarter revenue, an increase of about 111% from the $1.21 billion reported a year earlier. Analysts expect the company to remain deeply in the red, with a loss of roughly $1.42 per share, according to Kiplinger.

The report follows a first quarter in which CoreWeave posted $2.08 billion in revenue, more than double the $982 million generated in the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA reached $1.16 billion, though the company’s adjusted net loss widened to $589 million, according to CoreWeave’s first-quarter results.

Investors will be watching more than the headline revenue figure. CoreWeave has been spending aggressively to build the data centers and computing infrastructure needed to meet demand for Nvidia GPUs and other AI computing resources, making its ability to bring new capacity online — and eventually convert rapid revenue growth into durable profits and cash flow — a central question for investors.

The company’s backlog offers one signal that demand remains strong. CoreWeave reported a revenue backlog of $99.4 billion at the end of the first quarter, according to the company.

But the scale of the buildout also carries risk. Analysts have raised concerns about data-center construction delays, the pace of infrastructure deployment, and the company’s ability to improve margins while continuing to invest heavily in new capacity, according to Investopedia.

The market is bracing for a volatile reaction. Options prices imply CoreWeave shares could move roughly 13% in either direction following the report, Investopedia reported. The stock has gained nearly 30% this year but remains well below its previous highs.

For investors, the central question Tuesday may not be whether demand for AI computing remains strong — there is little indication it has slowed. Instead, the focus will likely fall on whether CoreWeave can build capacity fast enough to capture that demand while showing its capital-intensive model can eventually produce durable profits and cash flow. With AI infrastructure spending continuing at an extraordinary pace, the results could also offer a broader signal about the health of the AI investment boom.
