Cboe Names Catherine Grover Chief Human Resources Officer

October 20, 2026

CHICAGO—Cboe Global Markets has named Catherine Grover executive vice president and chief human resources officer, effective Nov. 16, 2026, as the global exchange operator continues to expand its operations and workforce.

Grover will oversee Cboe’s worldwide human resources operations, including talent recruitment, employee development and organizational planning. She will be based in Chicago and report directly to Chief Executive Officer Craig Donohue.

Grover joins Cboe after more than 29 years at PNC Financial Services Group, where she held several senior human resources and business leadership positions.

Most recently, she served as executive vice president of human resources, advising senior executives and overseeing teams supporting approximately 55,000 employees. Her responsibilities also included talent acquisition, leadership development and workforce strategy.

“Cathy’s experience will help us continue building the leadership, talent and organizational capabilities needed to support our ambitions and ensure Cboe remains a destination for top talent around the world,” Donohue said.

Grover said she plans to focus on strengthening Cboe’s workforce development programs and supporting the company’s organizational growth.

“I look forward to working with our talented HR team and building on Cboe’s strong foundation to help scale the organization for what’s ahead,” she said.

Cboe operates derivatives, equities and foreign exchange markets, providing trading, clearing and investment services to institutional and individual investors worldwide.

The company traces its origins to 1973, when it launched the world’s first listed options exchange. It subsequently introduced S&P 500 index options and developed the Cboe Volatility Index, commonly known as the VIX, which measures market expectations of near-term volatility.

Cboe trades on its own exchange under the ticker symbol CBOE.
