Pro-life bills advance in Montana Senate

BOZEMAN, Mont. — Thursday, two Montana House bills related to abortion rights took another step forward in the Legislature.

The Senate Judiciary Committee heard two abortion bills. The hearing lasted almost three hours, with lots of emotional testimony from both sides.

Proponents say the bills support life and safeguard women, while opponents believe they are limiting access to abortion and endangering women’s health care rights.
