New Irish restaurant coming to Uptown Butte

BUTTE, Mont. — Butte is known to have just about anything Irish but there’s one thing that’s been missing, a family-friendly Irish restaurant. That is, until now.

Born and raised in Ireland before moving to America in 2003, the man known to one and all as Irish Johnny has always had a fascination with the Mining City.

“Before I knew about Boston or Chicago, before I even knew about New York, I heard about Butte, America,” said Irish Johnny, who’s official title is O’Donnell’s director of blarney and shenanigans.
