Museum of the Rockies Hosts Café Naming Contest

November 23, 2024

he Museum of the Rockies (MOR) is inviting the public to participate in a contest to name its new café, set to open in May 2025. The “Name the New Museum Café” contest, which runs from November 20 to December 20, offers an exciting opportunity for community members to leave their mark on the museum’s latest addition.

Contestants can submit their name ideas online at www.museumoftherockies.org/cafe, with each person allowed one entry. The name should be original, family-friendly, and reflective of the museum’s mission and identity.

A committee of museum staff will review all submissions and select the winner, who will be announced in January. The lucky winner will receive a year-long membership to the Museum of the Rockies—either a new membership or a renewal—along with a $100 gift card to the new café.

The café, which will be located in the museum’s Bair Lobby, will offer a variety of refreshments, including coffee from Bozeman’s own Yellowstone Coffee Roasters, soft drinks, grab-and-go sandwiches, and a selection of snacks.

This contest offers a fun way for the community to engage with the museum while also contributing to the future experience of visitors.
