Wyoming Aeronautics Commission Schedules December Meeting and Facility Tours in Cheyenne

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will convene from December 9-11, 2024, at the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) Headquarters, located at 5300 Bishop Boulevard in Cheyenne. The sessions will take place in the I-80 Room of the WYDOT-U Training Building.

Meeting Schedule

  • Monday, December 9:
    • A workshop will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. featuring presentations from WYDOT staff and a consultant on an Economic Impact Study.
    • Commissioners and WYDOT staff will gather for a dinner later that evening; no official business will be conducted.
  • Tuesday, December 10:
    • Commissioners will participate in tours of two facilities: the FAA Denver Air Route Traffic Control Center in Longmont, Colorado, and the WYDOT Sign Shop in Cheyenne.
  • Wednesday, December 11:
    • The commission will hold its regular business meeting at 8:30 a.m.

The meeting and workshop are open to the public, and additional information about the educational sessions or facility tours can be obtained by contacting the commission secretary.

The Aeronautics Commission regularly meets to discuss topics related to aviation infrastructure, economic impact, and other key issues impacting Wyoming’s air transportation network.
