Montana DOJ Seeks Applicants for Tow Truck Complaint Resolution Committee

The Montana Department of Justice is seeking applications to fill a vacancy on the Tow Truck Complaint Resolution Committee, representing the Montana Highway Patrol.

The committee reviews and resolves complaints related to tow truck operations across the state. Members serve a three-year term.

The six-member committee includes:

  • Two representatives from the tow truck industry

  • One member from the commercial motor carrier industry

  • One member from the insurance industry

  • One public member

  • One representative from the Montana Highway Patrol

Interested applicants should submit a letter of application including their name, address, and relevant qualifications to ContactDOJ@mt.gov. Letters may also be mailed to:

The deadline for applications is January 30, 2026.
