Governor Gianforte Announces Board Appointments

Governor Greg Gianforte today announced the following appointments:

Board of Regents of Higher Education

Carter Jasper, Missoula: A graduate of Saint Regis High School, Jasper is a student at the University of Montana studying political science. His term will run through July 1, 2026.

Fish and Wildlife Commission

Ian Wargo, Kalispell: Born and raised in Kalispell, Wargo is a civil engineer and licensed guide in the state of Montana. Wargo will serve as Region 1 Commissioner. His term will run through January 2, 2029.

Brian Cebull, Billings: As co-founder of GTUIT, LLC, Cebull is an innovative executive in the oil and gas exploration industry. Cebull will continue to serve as Region 5 Commissioner. His term will run through January 2, 2029.

Bill Lane, Ismay: A native of Livingston, Lane is the owner and operator of a ranch in eastern Montana. Lane will continue to serve as Region 7 Commissioner. His term will run through January 2, 2029.

KC Walsh, Martinsdale: Walsh is the former Executive Chairman of Simms Fishing Products based in Bozeman. Walsh will continue to serve as Region 4 Commissioner. His term will run through January 2, 2029.
