AZ Lemonade Stand, an Arizona-based premium lemonade brand, is rolling out across Montana retailers this month, bringing five flavors to Town Pump, Super 1 Foods, Rosauers, and Thriftway Food Stores locations statewide as the company pushes deeper into western markets.
The launch includes the brand’s Original, Strawberry, Mango, and Prickly Pear varieties alongside a Huckleberry flavor the company is positioning as a deliberate nod to Montana identity. Huckleberry was named the official state fruit of Montana in 2023 and holds deep cultural roots across the region.
“We’re especially excited about bringing our Huckleberry flavor to the state since it already feels so connected to Montana, and we know customers are going to love it,” said Kyle Hollenbeck, co-founder of AZ Lemonade Stand.
The company, which Hollenbeck founded with a longtime friend, has grown steadily since 2022 and is now projecting aggressive expansion. The brand has posted an average annual growth rate of roughly 25 percent between 2022 and 2025, with year-to-date growth already running about 45 percent ahead of last year’s pace. The company anticipates nearly 100 percent year-over-year growth by the end of 2026 and expects to reach approximately 3,000 retail locations across the region before the year is out.
Montana is part of a broader push across the Pepsi distribution network and western convenience retail market, with further expansion planned into Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.
To mark the Montana launch, participating Town Pump locations will offer an introductory promotion of two 32-ounce mason jar lemonades for $11, with additional deals varying by retailer.
The beverages are gently pasteurized and packaged in glass mason jars, which the company says preserves flavor while giving the product a distinctive shelf presence. The drinks are marketed both as ready-to-drink lemonades and as cocktail and mocktail mixers.
“What started as two longtime friends launching a lemonade company has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined,” Hollenbeck said.
