WYDOT Customer Satisfaction Survey Shows 70% Satisfaction

April 5, 2025

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has released the results of its biennial Customer Satisfaction Survey, showing that approximately 70 percent of respondents are satisfied with the department’s services.

The 12th edition of the survey, conducted by the University of Wyoming’s Survey and Analysis Center, collected 997 responses from Nov. 6 to Dec. 17, 2024. Participants were selected randomly and given the option to complete the survey either online or over the phone. Around 60 percent of respondents chose the online method.

The survey findings indicate that customers have noticed improvements in road conditions over the past two years and are generally pleased with the services provided at the state’s airports and ports of entry. However, the results also pointed to some areas where progress has stagnated or declined.

WYDOT Director Darin Westby emphasized that the survey feedback is a valuable tool for identifying areas that require further attention. “We view this feedback as an incredibly valuable tool to identify where improvements are most needed to better serve the traveling public,” Westby said.

The department plans to use the survey results to reassess its funding, operations, and resource allocation to ensure continued improvements in services for Wyoming residents and visitors.
