Texbase Strengthens Advisory Board with Appointment of Industry Veteran Randy Harward

November 22, 2025

Texbase, Inc., a leading cloud-based platform that manages supply chain traceability, compliance, certification, and sustainability data for retail, manufacturing, and textile brands, announced today that Randy Harward has joined its Advisory Board.

Harward brings more than two decades of experience in product development, materials research, and manufacturing innovation. He spent much of his career at Patagonia as Vice President of Advanced Research & Development, leading textile and hardware innovation, environmental R&D, and field-testing initiatives. He later served as Senior Vice President of Advanced Material & Manufacturing Innovation at Under Armour, where he spearheaded global material innovation teams and founded the Under Armour Lighthouse, a center for rapid prototyping and sustainable production technologies.

“Texbase sits at the intersection of product data, sustainability, and innovation — areas that have defined my career,” Harward said. “The Texbase platform provides the structure and transparency brands need to meet growing regulatory and circularity demands. I’m excited to support Texbase’s mission to make reliable data the foundation for smarter, more sustainable decisions.”

Texbase’s Advisory Board unites executives with deep experience in retail, supply chain, and product management to guide the company’s growth strategy and strengthen industry partnerships. Harward joins existing members Jenna Flateman Posner and Jack Keating, enhancing the board’s expertise in digital transformation, materials innovation, and sustainability.

“Randy’s ability to connect sustainable strategy with practical implementation makes him an exceptional addition to our Advisory Board,” said Donny Askin, CEO of Texbase. “His experience leading materials and manufacturing innovation at global brands will be instrumental as Texbase continues to align technology development with the industry’s evolving sustainability and compliance goals.”

Founded in 2002 and based in Bozeman, MT, Texbase enables consumer brands to collect and manage product data for compliance, traceability, and sustainability. The platform connects brands with supply chain partners to centralize real-time data, helping companies minimize off-quality costs, prevent losses from defects, optimize operational processes, and track materials performance. Brands such as Under Armour, Carhartt, and Bauer rely on Texbase for supply-chain management, sustainable material sourcing, and certification tracking.
