February 8, 2026

Senator Tim Sheehy (R-Wyo.) announced that Montana will receive $32 million in the latest federal funding package, signed into law by President Trump. The funds are earmarked for critical infrastructure projects, health care initiatives, and community development across the state.

“I’m proud to deliver on these commonsense investments to upgrade critical infrastructure, increase access to high-quality health care, and ensure the needs of Montana’s communities are front and center as we continue working diligently to fund the government,” Sheehy said in a statement.

Montana’s allocations in the package include:

  • $10 million – Sanders County Noxon Bridge

  • $10 million – Seeley Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant, Seeley Lake Missoula County Sewer District

  • $4 million – Crow Tribe of Montana highway infrastructure improvements

  • $4 million – Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) apron construction

  • $3,545,000 – Red Shield 8 Nations Inc. behavioral health treatment center construction

  • $455,000 – Equipment for University of Montana Neural Injury Center to establish a mobile clinic and laboratory for vestibular and neurosensory health

The funding package reflects Sheehy’s focus on supporting infrastructure, health care access, and tribal and community projects throughout Montana.

“These investments will directly benefit Montanans by strengthening transportation, improving critical services, and supporting innovative health care solutions,” Sheehy said.
