Montana Republican Party Chairman Calls Out Tester Over Law Enforcement Funding Claims

Montana Republican Party Chairman Don “K” Kaltschmidt issued a statement today criticizing Senator Jon Tester for what he claims are false assertions regarding funding for law enforcement in a recent political advertisement.

Kaltschmidt’s remarks come after several Montana Sheriff’s Offices publicly disputed Tester’s claims about his support for local law enforcement agencies. “Jon Tester’s true colors are being plastered across social media as multiple Montana Sheriff’s Offices have come forward and called out two-faced Tester for not funding their law enforcement offices like he’s claimed in his campaign ad,” Kaltschmidt stated.

He continued, “Montanans and local law enforcement are tired of the lies spouting from Tester’s campaign. In one week, voters will elect Tim Sheehy, who will stand up for law enforcement and protect the brave men and women in uniform who risk their lives every day to serve our communities.”

As the election approaches, tensions are rising over issues related to law enforcement funding and support, with both parties vying for the trust of voters and law enforcement personnel.
