20 cadets win awards from Montana State’s Air Force ROTC

BOZEMAN – The Air Force ROTC at Montana State University bestowed 20 awards upon selected cadets on April 17. The name of the award, the recipient(s), major, anticipated graduation date, and hometown follow:

Dwight Smith Sword Award

  • Cadet Dustin Edgerton, Computer Science, May 2024, Wasilla, Alaska.

Montana State University’s Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering is home to the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps and the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps. The Air Force ROTC Detachment 450 is a leadership development course designed to train future Air Force and Space Force officers. The demanding, competitive program focuses on academics, leadership skills, physical fitness and moral character.
