State Court Administrator Sally Holewa Honored with Gerald W. VandeWalle Medal

At the 2024 annual meeting of the State Bar Association of North Dakota, State Court Administrator Sally Holewa was awarded the prestigious Gerald W. VandeWalle Medal. This honor, bestowed by the State Bar Association’s Board of Governors, recognizes individuals for their exceptional dedication and contributions to the administration of justice and the enhancement of the judicial system.

Holewa, who has served as North Dakota’s state court administrator since 2005, has a distinguished career in court administration. Her previous roles include unit trial court administrator in North Dakota, as well as administrative positions in Minnesota and Michigan. She has also served as past president of the Conference of State Court Administrators and past vice-chair of the Board of Directors for the National Center for State Courts.
